My name is Sarah Schofield
I am a Family Link Worker for the Coastal Collective. I have lived in St Annes for 14 years with my husband, two children and various cats, fish and guinea pigs.
I have a background in Early Years childcare as a self employed Ofsted registered childminder, a trip coordinator for a school travel company, and worked in sales and marketing for the energy sector. I enjoy time in the open air with my family, growing my own fruit and vegetables and planning my next holiday!
Since joining the Coastal Collective in September 2023, I have run Parent Drop in groups within schools and externally, Messy play for parents and toddlers, Grandparent groups, First Aid courses and organised within school Triple P parenting courses.
I have worked one to one with parents and children, and helped children discover more about their emotions and behaviour. My Life Skills group for children with one to one needs is proving a success too.
I love to talk about our services and am always looking for ways to involve the local community such as library open days and wellbeing events.
My role in the Coastal Collective allows me to facilitate a link between parents and the different schools in our FY8 area, and am always open to suggestions about our next events.
