Direct work supporting children in schools

A significant part of our work is delivered directly in schools through one-to-one and small group interventions.

Working closely with teachers, school leaders and parents, we identify each child’s individual strengths and needs to ensure they receive the right support at the right time.
Our programmes are designed to help children develop confidence, resilience, communication skills and positive relationships, enabling them to thrive both in school and beyond.

Coastal Crew Siblings Group

The Coastal Crew Siblings Group was created to support children who have a brother or sister with additional needs. This fun and engaging five-week programme can be delivered in any school across the cluster, either during the school day or as an after-school group.
The group provides a safe and supportive space where children can connect with others who share similar experiences, helping them to realise they are not alone. Through a range of enjoyable activities, children build self-esteem, develop friendships, and gain a greater understanding of their own feelings and experiences. As the programme progresses, participants form strong peer connections, creating a network of support that often extends beyond the group itself.
