The Coastal Collective is a children’s charity established in Lytham St Annes in 2023 through a unique partnership between nine local primary schools, two local secondary schools and The Lytham Schools Foundation.

Created in response to a shared commitment to supporting children and families across the FY8 area, our mission is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive, and lead a safe, healthy, happy life.

By working collaboratively across schools, communities and local services, we can identify needs early, provide targeted support and create opportunities that strengthen the wellbeing and life chances of children and young people.

What We Do

At The Coastal Collective, we provide a range of universal and targeted services designed to support children and their families. Our work is delivered in three key ways:

Direct work supporting children in their schools – working alongside children and families within their school community.
Provision across the community – providing accessible services and programmes for children and families in the school settings.
School-led projects – equipping and supporting school teams to deliver initiatives that improve outcomes for children and young people.
